Good Evans Again!!

The first EBGA tournament of 2010, The Chairman’s Cup, was held at Kilworth Springs Golf Club, Leicestershire for the eight time running. A field of 25 blind golfers and guides enjoyed very pleasant playing conditions – the weather being bright and sunny and the course in its usual fine condition.

The event was won with an exceptional performance by Chris Evans from Carmarthenshire who scored 46 Stableford points off his 14 playing handicap. “It was the round of a lifetime” he said.

For the second year Ron Tomlinson from Essex was second with a score of 41 points.

Once again the owners of Kilworth Springs gave EBGA courtesy of the course and prime tee times. Their generosity is very much appreciated by all members.
