Chairman’s Cup.

Doesn't time fly, is it because we are getting older or is it just how things have always been?

I ask the question because, last Sunday, 13th of April 2008 saw EBGA players back at Kilworth Springs golf course to play in the Chairman's Cup.

We had an initial entry of 27 players, unfortunately 1 player had to drop out leaving us with 26 players of which 5 were B1’s. This was the biggest field for this competition and certainly the most B1’s I have seen in a match.

The weather was not as good as last year but the players out first certainly had the best of it.

The course was playing well, better for some than others and the winner with a score of 39 points was Roy McKnight. Well done Roy and Bill.
