Richard (Dick) Walker. 1-5-1927 - 14-5-2015.

They came from far and wide, on a rainy windy day, to honour and celebrate the life of one of their own kind, to exchange happy memories of playing the mysterious game of golf.  Travelling the length and breadth of the Kingdom, from Donnegadeh  in Northern Ireland at the tail end of a hurricane, to Ayre in Scotland, down to Patshull Park with all those geese, to sandy, windy Brancaster to play on the Dunes with those deep bunkers, to Kent and the South Coast with many, many places in between too numerous to name, not to mention flying to Australia, Japan and the USA, this happy, courageous band of Blind Golfers with their loyal, long suffering wives, partners and guides met to do battle and form friendships as tight as that of any large family.

These memories will stay in our minds, clearer than any photograph, and we are very grateful for having been able to share them with you.  Many, many thanks go to all those who made this last journey to join us in the celebration of a life well lived and loved.
